Snoqualmie Whistlestop Red 2007

A cabernet and melrot blend, Snoqualmie Whistlestop Red 2007 is a well made wine for a budget price. Vibrant fresh fruit aromas of black cherry and currant combine with hints of rosemary. The palate of this Washington blend is full of black cherries highlighted with clove and earth, matched with soft tannins, subtle vanilla and a little roasted coffee on a smooth finish.

  1. i like your blog; i need to hunt around on it a bit more. i think you're right on with the clove and black cherries, but did you think this was a little stiff? this is my first time with this snoqualmie, and i wish it were a bit softer.
