Dark Ruby red color, aromatic nose, with black berry and cherry aromas and flavors. On the palate Il Bastardo Sangiovese 2007 is medium bodied with good tannins and an overall Chianti like fruit finish. This Sangiovese is a “junior” Chianti through and through.
