On the palate, Montoya Monterey Pinot Noir 2008 has a soft texture with a nice finish. A fruity aroma gives way to soft cherry and raspberry flavors with a soft tannin structure. Overall this is a lovely wine with the food, dominated but not overwhelming; an easy drinking California wine with everything working in harmony.
